A paw pad marked with fangs at its center — the emblem of those who revere Noir above the other spirits bound to human hosts. To wear it, or to be marked by it, is to be recognized: Noir's chosen vessel is a prince to them, whether he wants the title or not.
Other hosts, bound to lesser spirits, seek Noir's blessing in hopes their own companions will be spared. It rarely works the way they hope. Some who see the mark curse it on sight and drive its bearer away; others kneel. There is no neutral reaction to it — only reverence or rejection.
